trade ducks/geese for fish - 12/09/15 07:38 PM

Is anyone interested in taking a couple of us duck/goose hunting in return for a fully guided fishing trip on cedar creek lake? We have a great wintertime bite over here that is only going to get better. Trip would be had on a 25' center console boat with the best electronics money can buy. Bait/tackle provided for the trip as well. Fish could be cleaned as well. Can accommodated 3-4 fisherman on trip. This trip would be for hybrid striper and white bass. We have been catching 40-150 fish an outing.

I probably could arrange lodging. It would just depend on what would be offered for trade.
Thanks.

Crappie fishing can be good in the spring. Not as good as stripper fishing in the winter though. At least for me.

Here is what I am offering. Hunt for your party of up to 4 people. Hunting the bad lands between Port O"Conner and Rockport on Matagorda Island. We will stay at my condo on the water in Port Oconner. WE can work out the food on both your end and my end. The ducks are here right now. I am off 10 days for Christmas. Boom!! My cards are out there brother, I call up

I am good with that. My wife would rather fish than duck hunt. The trip would be about her getting on some big stripers (I had to make dang sure I didn't mispell that one at that particular time in the conversation).

What I got in trade is what you see in the thread. 4 hunters 2 days at the bay smashing redheads, pintails, teal, scaups etc. Food. My place is on the water and the airboat will be parked in the water, 6 feet from my place.

In return I would like a trip for 4 for 2 days, a place to stay and food.

So is it finalized yet Wayne? Sounded like y'all had a good trade worked out. A little heavy on your end by throwing the condo in.

Re: trade ducks/geese for fish - 12/10/15 10:22 PM

I reckon he don't want no divers. These ducks don't go in a trade.

It doesn't get much better than Wayne's offer...especially with the sweet airboat he has.

Ok new deal. I will take you fishing up here. No guarantees on catching anything but I hear they are biting. In return I want a weekend duck hunt with a stay at the condo. You must furnish the meals (salt added).
