It's a wood duck kinda season

Cappytx was right. Been a long time since I have seen so many around. They were getting thin in some places during the drought years. Lot of pecans still and acorns falling like crazy it has them spread out during the day where I was, but the flocks flying the creeks to roost in the evening seem to be as big as they get. As much water and as many acorns still on the trees, I think the wood ducks will stick around a good while.
