packing peanuts

With all this recent talk about fake corn, it's got me to thinking.

Since them fake corns work, how about fake peanuts?

I was thinking, man I got a metric brick outhouse load of them stro foam peanuts blowing around the living room and back yard.I get a ton of them from packing from my orders off of home shopping network as well as the chinese knife channel. What if I was to invest in some peanut colored paints. Paint all those little devils up and set em loost on a North wind in my plowed field. Tens of thousands of em. Maybe even erect a faux pivot as a confidence builder. Reckon that'd work?

Any ideas on how to get that paint on them stro foam peanuts quickly. I'd imagine that hand painting would pretty much eat up an entire year.

Should I pitch this idear to Avery or Mojo?

Thoughts?

Can't imagine throwing styrofoam around is good for where you hunt or any wildlife that tries to eat it.

I was thinking of using fake ducks. You could take a bunch fake ducks, spread them all around just like they were real ducks! The other actual real ducks would see the fake ducks and think "hey that must be where it's safe and where the food is"

They won't know what hit them!!

Might even build a huge metal box on top of pontoons to shoot out of......nah that's crazy talk.

Does that not qualify as baiting?

Careful: the biodegradable ones are made from CORNSTARCH = edible = baiting!

Always has to be at least one naysayer. Please explain how this is unethical or a threat to the environment?

I will agree that its a threat to avian life. Anytime they get in range of my superMAG there is a real threat. That thing slings loads some real distance.

Environment? Last time I checked, the premium potting soils all have little bit of stroughfoam in them. Premium Miracle grow is what I'd be making. The farmer should be thankin me.

I think I have a real winner here. If anybody from one of them there plastic corn manufacturers reads this thread, I'll have a liscensing deal in the works. You watch hand.

Made in merica in my garage. No worries about Chinese quality or lead based paints.

Started as a joke, then some people took it serious, then the ones who were joking stirred the pot. Pretty typical thread in the waterfowl section lol.

How am I supposed to know if every guy with three months and 51 posts is being sarcastic or not?

Clearly he is now, but if someone is thinking about throwing packing peanuts out, I'm going to say that's a bad idea unless it's obviously sarcastic, which I couldn't tell.
