Little Argentina

I've never had much luck on late hunts, but with two limits at Stompy's place during the opener, I tried again Yesterday. My poor shooting aside, I have never experencened so many birds. There as a group of 100-150 birds that came into the field. As they flew over, I was so mesmerized by the waves of Doves flying in, I only got off a couple of shots. I've always dreamed of Dove hunting in Argentina, but feel I got a taste of it yesterday at Stompy's!
I did figure out my shooting issue a bit late; Follow thru....follow thru....follow thru.

Several limits here this morning. Probably would have had a couple more but guys ran out of shells. Enjoyed having you again Chris. And you only saw part of that big group, about 50-75 split off and went over the SW part of the field. Birds are insane this year. I keep thinking their going to thin out some but more just keep showing up.

Are they mourning dove or white wings Stompy?

All Mourning Doves. White Wings were gone after the second weekend.

Got openings this weekend?

Yes I do. Lots of room. Only have about 18 guys here this weekend. Cabins are booked though.
