Have you seen the price of Hevi-Shot? Based on the market, $12 for a box of 10 bismuth shells is a steal. Hevi-Shot will run you $49.99 a box of 10 at full price, which sure makes $12 a box look nice. Is it still pricey? Absolutely. Is it a great price for a premium shell based on other products on the market? Definitely. It's up to the hunter to determine whether or not the gains produced by bismuth/tungsten vs steel are worth the extra cost.

How does Bismuth compare to Hevi-Shot shot? I've always thought that Hevi-Shot was superior. I've used it in my 28ga with great results! Too expensive to shoot every day.

Hevi-Shot is superior because it is denser than lead, while Bismuth is slightly less dense than lead. However, both are much denser and more expensive than steel, which is why both types of shot are considered premium.

I kill tons of ducks with guided missiles. Steel of course, all legal. $80,000 per missile.

Makes up for my piss poor shooting skills and when I need to pull the trigger on those 1000 yard shots on birds I have trouble hitting.

I'm thinking most guided missiles now days have a fiberglass or composite skin. How do you get your ark of travel to hit the corn pile?
