I purchased a new 12 gauge for dove season. Now I find out you can only legally have 3 shells in the magazine. Does anyone know how to plug the drum?

Just fill it, when the GW asks just tell him you didn't know about the limit. They won't mind.

Just take it down to elm fork and shoot sporting clays, you'll fit right in. Just load a whole box in there so you don't have to reload station to station.

Im sure the GW wont bug you about it chances are you could choot the whole drum and not have any feathers to show for it...
