Many years ago I hunted there and it was awesome! I was up by keichi, I think that's how you spell it.
I will be around 5 miles from that town ..
Good to hear that

If I remember correctly you can't take a doe during rifle season. Things might have changed since then but it's good hunting all the way around.
Yes doe only during bow season..

Remember a lot of landowners who don't hunt their own property much will often say they don't get many ducks. But they may get a lot, they just don't realize it.
That's what i am hoping for. There are couple nice ponds on the property

I'm not too far away during the seasons. Plenty of duck, but when the water is high they have lots of other options too! Doe in bow and usually the Thanksgiving long weekend during rifle if it is an AR county. Good luck!
have hunted a fair amount in the area....and yes there are enough ducks in the general area to mess with. But, it does vary from pond to pond as it does anywhere else. You have ponds with food, you will have ducks. As said above, when the local creeks and rivers get out, it scatters them pretty bad. That happens anywhere though. Based on what youre telling us, you should be able to have a good duck shoot or two throughout the season!

You will shoot wood ducks... plenty of those... be wearing your watch though
I heard today there were lots of woodies in that area.
Which is good since where I usually hunt in sulphur springs we don't see many woodies
