Needing epic dove hunt for bachelor party

Just going to be 3 of us (groom, best man and groomsmen(me)) Looking for epic hunt, and hopefully with all this rain it won't be hard to find one. San Antonio - Austin area would be preferred ( central zone). If you know or can recommended place, that would help. Single day hunt on Sept. 4th.

Probably.. thinking, hunt then golf in afternoon and then the bar. Next morning the dudes getting hitched.

If you want guaranteed birds, go to the Nooner Ranch. They're not too far from San Antonio and that will let you get back to town for golf and other entertainment.

Bachelor parties the night before the wedding is a baf bad bad idea. On this you will just hsve to trust me. Fortunately I learned my lesson prior to my wedding.

Yea but a lot of them offer lodging to go with it and not the hunt by itself. That's why I was thinking morning

The tiddy bars that offer lodging are called something else and you don't have to hunt hard. haha... Surely you can find outfitters who do afternoon hunts without lodging on a dove hunt. I know a lot of guy who pay for Dove hunts and have never talked about lodging or anything with them other than maybe burritos in the field

Be ready to adapt depending on weather, and by weather I mean heat. Hunting the morning and afternoon golf in San Antonio in early September might put someone in the hospital.

While I've never partaken in a bachelor party the day before a wedding. I've been involved in heavy drinking the night prior. One was a dry Baptist wedding. Groom was throwing up at reception. Bride was not pleased at all. I'd reschedule.

Try calling the Storm Ranch. I've hunting there. They have a party barn set up for bachelor parties. They normally don't do a lot of dove hunting, but they have a lot of hogs and you guys could hunt those. I have shot dove out there so you could ask for both. If you call tell Katy or Josh that Aquaman sent you.
