I've got a piece of sheet water right down the road that's been holding 20 greenheads and a couple dozen Canada's for a week now

Stopped and glassed some sheet water just outside of town and it was holding a bunch of greenheads, gaddies, gwt and spoonies. As I was looking through my binos at a greenhead a beautiful cinnamon teal swam into view. I really thought about sneaking over there with a pellet gun.

I also saw a duck today in an aly puddle right in the middle of town. Couldn't get a good look at it but it I don't think it was a park duck.

Saw a ton of birds on the way to Grayson Co and a bunch of birds on water around Hagerman. Geese were flying, including snows.

Stopped to pick up an order and saw a group of mallards circling by the Allen Cabela's parking lot as I pulled in to park. Stood in the front by the entrance with a couple outfitters and watched the birds drop to feed on a grass island in the Target parking lot. There's sheet water a couple hundred yards down the road from Cabela's behind the Allen Top Golf, it had a few mallards on it as well.
