What is your favorite mallard duck call?

I'm looking to purchase a couple of new ones and was looking for suggestions. Thanks.

Do you already know how to run one?

I'm not the best at it but do know how to use one.

RNT short barrel or original

x2 on the RNT. I've got an echo and haydels also that are both nice

RNT Daisy Cutter. RNT Daisy Slayer.

Zink ATM for a calls anytime / calls when wet / easy call.

Echo timber... Affordable, easy to learn on, and a jam up call overall...

Even haydales makes a great very cheap call.. Anyone that's ever used one will agree

Echo timber. Cheap, very realistic and you can get real quiet on this call. For bluebird days.

I have gift cards for Bass Pro. Im headed there to get me a RNT daisy cutter and an echo.

Echo and Hobo are my go-to calls, but I finished this past season with a JJ Lares Hybrid! Sure like it! A duck hunter can never have enough duck calls!!!

I use to think people were a bit strange for having multiple calls on their lanyard. Then I had one lock/ ice up on me during a hunt. Sounded like a duck being strangled, and I was sure glad to have a few other calls with me. Can't ever have to many calls..

My favorite on my lanyard is my quackshack double reed

It changes often, but for the past 2 seasons I have been sticking to my RNT short barrel. It's a great call and extremely versatile. I also keep a Hobo Prime Meat on the lanyard for those days when I really have to scream at them. Recently bought a Field Proven single shot as well. Can't really comment on its capabilities as I haven't had a chance to tune it to my liking. I just like Field and Clay and wanted to support them more than anything.

I got my me a RNT Daisy Cutter. That is one awesome call.

I know everyone is going to give me a hard time over this one but some of Duck Commanders higher end calls are some of the easiest calls ive blown...

Forget the Mfg of a call. There are plenty of good ones out there which are not mass produce.
The most effective and realistic sounding call is a double reed.
Hearing a person who doesn't have the skills to run and control a single reed is like nails on a chalk board.
We have all heard them and wish they would move a little further away.

Yep, usually use a Haydel's DR-85 and a whistle.

Doesn't look like much, but effective. And for $20, I won't get too upset if I lose it somewhere.

These are all relatively heap calls that are easy for an average caller to make sound like a duck. I consider myself average. I've blown high dollar calls that sound amazing in the right hands, but I can't even make them sound like a dying duck.
