Free to good home: Female Chocolate Lab Pup - 02/17/15 07:19 PM

She was found by a friend and he is not a dog person. I took her in hopes of finding her a good home. She is young, probably about 8-10 weeks no more than 12 weeks old. She is inquisitive and stays at your feet most of the time you're sitting down. I just picked her up this afternoon so I haven't had a lot of time with her. She has a white/yellow patch on her chin and another on her chest. Good looking dog, seems to be house broken(no accidents and went outside when she needed to). Buddy tried for 2 weeks to find her rightful owner, fliers, ads, Facebook and no luck. She has had no problems with my dogs and she is getting used to the doggie door fairly quick.

Located in the Saginaw/Lake Worth area on Eagle Mountain Lake

I am very interested. Looking for a puppy, and she seems like she has the temperament of a good loyal dog. My wife and I have been talking about getting another dog and I said it has to be a lab/ duck dog. I will get with you via pm in the morning. She would have a good home here.

Well, y'all will have to fight the daughter for her. I was hoping she would be gone before the daughter saw her or knew about her, because I have a hard time telling my daughter no. The dog now has a name, Harley, a kennel, leash, Retriever Training by Robert Milner book, and enough chew toys to choke a Clydesdale.

This is not the outcome I wanted, because I know the time, dedication and patience it takes to train a dog. Me being on 3rd shift and sleeping days, just doesn't allow me the time. The daughter wanted her and decided she wants to train her herself, so I agreed as long as school/grades doesn't suffer. I applaud you guys who take on training a dog, you have patience and dedication, I on the other hand, like mine ready to go.

Thanks for all the inquiries, but she is off the market.

Good for you and her. Best dog I have had just showed up one day. She was a Black Lab/Collie Mix.

Dang, she is a friend of ours, and found a very similar pup in Saginaw. I wonder if they are litter mates someone dumped off.

She looks a little like my dog. Maybe a lab pit mix? She looks like a great pup.
