Just heard from a friend that Avery filed chapter 11!! Get your greenhead gear now while it lasts...

Avery sucks

Some quick google searching suggested "Ch-14" being filled. I think it is an approach to pay off debts before officially going bankrupt.

I was in Stuttgart not that long ago having a conversation with an outfitter and a landowner. Avery outdoors topic came up and the landowner said the the owners of Avery were having trouble and would possibly sell. He said that they had something happen with their manufacturing in China and lost the bps contract. This is all hearsay but sounds like something defiantly is happened.

what happened is they fell into a trap that a lot of business do, they expanded to big to fast and lost control of their quality
