Do you know where you left it and went back and it was gone? Try calling WMA tomorrow, hopefully good guy found it and turned it in.

Before anyone gives him crap, forgetting shotguns is a lot more common than you think. Ask the folks at Elm Fork how many unclaimed shotguns they have in the safe that people have left behind.

I went back and checked where I left it when I realized it was missing- and it was gone. There was one truck left at the gate when my group left and we remember exactly what the truck was like so we're keeping an eye out. They didn't leave a note, so I will check with the WMA office and GW thanks for the advice.

I didn't read it but if those two things were in there, did you really have to ask why?

Been around here for awhile and have never seen someone drop GD, much less get upset it disappeared.

Lake namer? Get over it ram. Guy loses a gun and is trying to find it and you're worried about how he threw out a name of a lake any slappy could google? Hope you find your gun.

Well on a positive note, at least it happened on the closing weekend and not the opening weekend. Seriously though, that sucks, good luck with your search. There's still a few honest people left, maybe you'll get lucky

Re: Left shotgun at gate at Lake Cooper - 01/27/15 04:57 AM

That sucks, hope you find it. Last season I was carting my kayak down a trail to the water and got all set up and went to get my gun and it was mia. Walked back and found it along the trail, thankfully no one came in after me and snatched it up.

Silver/grey/gold extended cab Chevy early 2000 model, had frame on the bed for a bed cover. Two guys came in on kyaks I believe.

Re: Left shotgun at gate at Lake Cooper - 01/27/15 09:23 PM

Well, shotguns are one of the most prized commodities, so chances are you not gonna find it.
An honest person would have done anything possible to return it within 12 hrs...
Sorry

On another note, all prized guns should have a gps embedded in them.
