"It's hard"...... oh my goodness we can't have that.
Always good to see the guys that crow about their high dollar decoy rigs before the season on the fence rows come the first of January.
Funny and a little sad.
Mostly funny though.
If clients want to kill birds and not watch sillosocks death wobble for 3 hours in a field I recommend pass shooting on a day with extremely high winds. As I said we never pass shoot geese with clients. That was last year in Oklahoma and if I can sit on a fence row and pass shoot 20 snow geese in an afternoon without ever touching a decoy then that is fine by me. Go ahead and crawl back under your rock and come back out around the second week of February and hopefully I will have some cow silhouette pictures for you to cry about.
I'm with you on that...heck, if I booked a goose hunt and the outfitter said we could either put out a thousand decoys and lay in the mud, and kill 12 snows all day or we can pass shoot or use this cow decoy and have a good time and a massacre, I'd be all for the second option!
