First time frying!!!! Came out damn good!!!!
My dad always fried his! I've been pan searing mine right now but been wanting to fry really bad. Care to share a chefs secret?

I just soaked in salt water for 24 hours! Few eggs for batter,Then corn meal / lemon & herb seasoning.
When 16 yr old daughter walks by grabs a couple with some ketchup then comes back for seconds, I guess they are pretty good !!!

My favorite is marinated overnight with Worcestershire, olive oil, black pepper, garlic and chili sauce, then grilled until done. It's amazing. You can substitute teriyaki for the Worcestershire if you want.

Cut em into smaller strips. Soak them in milk for 24 hours and then egg, batter and fry. Easier to eat and I think more tender since you don't have to overcook the outside to get the middle done.

Yes. Teal and woodies are far amongst best tablefare- I typically sausage all of mine - only puddlers and 20% Owens spicy sausage
