Nice,
OK...call it bad angle, light, whatever, but I can't figure out what that other duck is, and its bothering me. Pintail or redhead hen?
Good luck on your trip.

I would've gone with that, but couldn't see the rings on the bill and throwing me off

It was special, since i dont think i ever shot a double of wigeon and redhead. I know they are both divers, but why in the heck were they flying together. (Just 2 came in)
We ended up with 10 ducks, me and the guide.
Breakfast in the concrete pitblind. Hunt from 6:20 till noon.
Was a change from these 20 minute limit in Texas.
Gave me time to enjoy 1/2 of a day.
Birds did not want to commit. Crippled 2 that the guide finished.
Overhere majority of guides shoot BB on duck and geese with long or even extra long range pattern master, which makes sense. I shot heavyshot nr 4, but will prolly put some BB in tomorrow, since most of our shots where 40-55 yards away. Nr 4 wont do the job adequaqly!
Cant wait to wake up at 4. Tomorrow drizzle, snow and colder. Duckie!

Nope. The wigeon is a puddle duck my friend. Redheads will latch on to any poor in a storm, and they probably don't even know what the difference is either. They're not known for being very smart.
