Off to an EPIC start to the 2014-2015 Waterfowl Season! - 11/19/14 03:58 PM
To say that we are off to an EPIC start to this years waterfowl season would be an understatement! Through Tues 18th our numbers look like this:
683 birds harvest
21 hunts
32.5 bird average per hunt
All the hard work we put into our ponds/properties during the offseason is really paying off. Managing the birds by combining resting, rotating, letting the birds get comfortable once they arrive have all have played a huge part in our early season success. The stage planting and now stage flooding that we are doing will help keep them here for the entire season. Not many people that I know can honestly say they have ponds full of food that they haven't flooded yet because of choice. WE CAN. WHY? Because it's all part of the management plan to ensure that we hold birds for the entire season. Below are the pictures of our hunts so far this season and we're just getting started! If you want in on the action, I'll list our few remaining dates below as well. Or just keep checking back with us to enjoy the pictures. To get daily pictures and reports, like/follow us on social media as we post there almost every day.
