I saw lots of migrators yesterday, including a few Vs of geese.

It is looking good.

Can't remember the weather nerds talking about too many "arctic intrusions" and "astounding drops" in temperatures for our area this early in the season.

Wish I didn't have a school dance next weekend... Or else I'd be out there! Sounds like perfect timing

Dang, I miss that here in e. Tex.
Used to hear and see many flocks this time a year but with less geese using the Tex. coast it's now become a rarity. It's sad really.

In 2 days of deer hunting saw 10 flocks of geese and 2 flocks of sandhills headed south. Had a flock of about 50 Pintails buzz over and hit a tank on the place early one morning, might have to take the shotgun, deeks and calls out the next trip and do a little duck hunting as well as deer hunting.

School dances typically don't start 1/2hr before sunrise... Just saying
