Dove are back in N Tx

Shot 10 up north in 1.5 hrs. Birds everywhere. Hunted in Van Zandt Saturday for a few hours.

Cleaned 22 total.






Hunted 11 year old w 15 month pup today. Little one is a machine

Well the dove still/sure were not in Hunt county this morning seen all of 3 with no opportunity!!! Was hoping cooler weather would have turned it around. Meh! Dog had fun though running around.

I would put- and have hunted both dogs w well bred labs- several from Wildrose- let's say I wouldn't trade the brains, natural drive, or nose of an English cocker w any of those dogs.

The lab wins out every time in sub 20 weather- these are too small to break thick ice- but outside of that.........absolutely no comparison popcorn
