At times I have to encourage her to shoot though. I've let birds fly past me to get to her and she still sometimes hesitates to shoot. I've even tried to get her to switch spots with me and she won't have any of it. Opening day she sort of got shafted as we had two last minute additions and she got stuck in the middle and didn't take many shots.

I think she likes to watch the birds and dogs more often than not, which I am guilty of as well.

My buddy said that last evening but it was "how did you miss that bird".

Followed by "what the hell are they shooting at?" Follwed by "poor Egrets never had a chance."

My oldest daughter prior to her first dove hunt. "It seems unfair to hunt dove with a shotgun". Needless to say she didn't use one shot per bird. We had two doves land in the mojos without anyone seeing them

Lots of birds flying, action was fast and furious. Drop a bird and I notice it looks a little darker than normal. I don't think much of it. A little while later the same thing happens. Get back to shooting. I'm counting my birds as I go, so when I limit I go to clean the birds.

I'm next to a buddy that limited also cleaning birds and pull the dark dove out. Bigger than a collared dove. My buddy looks at me and I look at him and we burst out laughing.

I shot two pigeons. I swear they were flying in with dove. I have been hunting this spot for 10 years and it hasn't happened before.

Two years ago I'm not hitting jack. Go through a box of shells with no birds. Buddy is making fun of me the whole time.
He is a scrounger, picking up all the hulls I shoot.
