I doubt they have a copy right on the saying Happy Happy Happy...or however it was spelt on the sticker. If he put a DD, Duck Commander, etc logo then yeah otherwise their really isnt a case.

As long as a logo is changed by a certain % there is no harm...this is clearly not the same as any DD logo...now advertising it as a DD logo could get you.

I told a friend of mine who started this company several years ago to somehow find a way to market with the guys. http://www.beardski.com/. This was before DD. On the A&E website they sell crappy looking beards at the same price or more.

Lol , y'all are funny. First it's fan art. I think the show is funny so I made a decal for it and anyone thats is a fan. They have a lot of different fan art products from TV shows to movies to anything. FYI unless it says "official" it isn't breaking any copyright infringements. You can't copyright a word or phrase. If so every book title would be and it's not. You can however make it a trademark which then no one could sell it without a license. So if it becomes a trademark then that's when there is infringement and I have no problem taking it down.

Search happy happy happy on amazon and see how many things come up not sold by the Robertsons including all of the tshirt sales people with Hap- Pay on themare selling. Not DD or DC. Look up ducks unlimited and see how many decals were outright stolen from DU.

Besides, yes I created the Sprigs, I phonetically changed the text, and the font is different as well. Not to mention that most of the hunting decals are stolen from the artists and resold as original. I know cause mine was stolen twice and I did prove my copyright.


So recap, it's for fun, you don't like it ignore it, all of the design is my intellectual property, if there is a dispute I'll change it to Sprigy Sprigy Sprigy or something, I haven't sold any so there's no case, lol.

I don't know the guy that made the decal but I was thinking it was to make money. To me that seems like a good idea. For an artist type drawing out stuff like this is their hobby so they make time for it...just like you make time to do whatever you do.
