Anyone use one on their gun? Likes/Dislikes? I looked at one on a Bretta Xtrema2 at the DU show and the Beretta dealer said they like it a lot. I have the same gun and it seems to get mixed reviews.

Maybe for thunder chickens, but not ditch chickens. It goes back to the principle that you point a shotgun, you don't aim it like a rifle. I don't have any person experience with it, but I think it would get in the way more than it would help.

I had one I used a couple times last season. It is Crap!

I upgraded to an ACOG and couldn't be happier.

I have a cross eye dominance problem and that would probably help me but I shoot good enough with closing my left eye. X2 on the "just one more thing to break in the field".

Kelly

BTW- I saw one on clearance in the bargain barn at cabelas in fort worth.

It helps my cross dominance for sure, but I only use it for dove. Y'all hate all you want but it works for me, and it works well.

is it really necessary? i mean, your supposed to lead the birds anyways. so why pay the extra money to aim at the sky?

It helps me lead better by allowing me to keep both eyes open while shooting which allows for better perception and focus. Cross dominance is a hard thing to overcome no matter how much shooting you do. I shot much better last season than I ever have while using it.

Me too... I have some cross-dominance and I felt like my shooting improved at the range this year when I added one... I was afraid I'd look at it, but, I don't, so it must work on some subconscious level.

Reason I got it was bc my gf had a hard time seeing the stock bead especially in low light. So I found a deal on them and at the same time went ahead and put one on mine. I like them alot.

You can't see the bird right if you're shootin right handed and focusing with your left eye. Just sayin. Like I said hate all you want but it works for me.
