My processor in Detroit Texas, close to my lease, has stopped taking pigs to be processed. Have any suggestions as to who still processes them? Lease is in Red River county and life south of Ft Worth so looking for something in between.

2 Choices in Muenster.
Fischer's and Hess Meats. Fischer's will do live hogs with USDA processing if healthy. Hess will do live also but only Texas certified processing.Call ahead for an appointment for live hogs. Just show up and drop off your dead ones.
Both process lots of deer and hogs.
Take a cooler, you'll want to haul some sausage home with you at Fischer's.

Hog Wild just North of Bonham will take pigs. Would be on your way home.

City Meat Market in Mt Vernon, just couple miles north of 30 on 37, does great job on deer and hogs. Exit 146 off 30.
