2 Small Boars Down - "Kennedy Bullet"

Had to poke a little fun. All the members of the Warren Commission are dead and I had to figure this out on my own. I shot a hog and for no apparent reason (at the time, in real time) another hog that I thought was nowhere near the flight path of the bullet, hence the Kennedy Bullet joke. It was still a pretty unique shot. The first half is the hunt and the second half looks at how the 2nd hog went down and bullet performance.

I’m surprised the sow didn’t crash right there and the frag of the smaller pig is interesting based on all the forces at play the bullet might have just squirted out the entry...

Your going to recover one of those Fusions someday , at this point what would you rate the MsR Federal ammo based on a scale of 1to 10?

It appears that sow has a broken front leg as she's running. I bet she's dead. Great video.

I dunno, maybe a 7 out of 10, SST being a 9 and Berger VLD-Hunting being a 10. Just cleaned my BCG. Federal's powder seems to leave some chunky residue (burned powder flakes?) that I have never seen with Hornady ammo.



Yeah, I could not decide if there was an actual broken bone in there somewhere or if it was some torn up muscles and other soft tissue. I was leaning toward the latter because she eventually seemed to recover fairly well. She may be dead, but she is on the neighbor's property where we have no permission to access.
