My biggest!!!

Posted this on thread in the deer hunting section but wanted to put it where a few more might see it. Shot this guy last night with a Qbeam and the trusty 308! Dropped him in his tracks!!! He's my biggest pig to date and I've hunted pigs a long time! Was pretty pumped!

Gonna make an awesome euro! He was as solid as he looks too!!! Only an 80 yard shot.

Thanks DN! I was very excited!!! My best friend was holding the light. We've hunted together most our lives. Since we were kids. We actually kinda argued about who would shoot it. Lol. I told him to and he told me the same. That's when you know you're buddys. Lol. It's been an awesome season, one of the best I've had.

I was thinking around 250 after we got up to him. He kept growing as we got closer to him! Lol. 235 is no joke though. Will probably be a long time before I top this one. I'm ok with that! What a season this has been.

He looked way bigger than that to me also! He sure felt heavier than 235 too! Lol. Maybe the scales were wrong. Guess I should have done the measuring thing!

Agreed, my biggest was 220 and didn't look that big but looks and photos can be deceiving.

Nothing deceptive going on in the photo. No trick angles. I'm 5'9" He was about 6' long when he was hung up. Just a stocky hog! Lol. I guess it's possible the scales were wrong but either way I was excited and happy with the kill. I do agree he looks way bigger then what the scale said.

Thanks! The last hog skull I boiled took forever. I can only imagine how long this one will take! Think I'll take it to mctaxidermy and let them handle it for me. They do great work from why I've seen.

You can see his front (closer) leg below his calf. What's that maybe 10 inches high..so your telling me the top of the hogs back sits 10 inches off the ground? No he's back as far as he can get...it's ok..still a respectable hog and post.

However the pic turned out is how it turned out. No trick photography. My hand is on its back! Anyways. It was a big ole pig. My biggest. Sorry if the camera Angle wasn't to your liking. That wasnt my intent to try misguide anyone. Merely trying to show a great pig I shot!
