Funny thing is, by weight, small hogs consume more resources than large hogs. This is the nature of still being growing. A juvenile hog will consume roughly 5% of its body weight per day while a larger adult hog only consumes about 3% per day. So not only do small hogs grow to be large hogs, but they eat relatively more food in doing so.
Good info right there. So see, I was right, small hog lives do matter. Kill 'em while they are young!

While smaller hogs eat more 'proportionally' (as a percent of their body weight), it still remains, larger hogs eat more food overall (your corn, your crops, natural forage).
200 lb. hog (consumption rate of 3% body weight)= 6.0 lbs. of food per day
50 lb. hog (consumption rate of 5% body weight)= 2.5 lbs. of food per dayAnd at what point do we no longer consider them 'smaller' (smaller than what)?
I just shoot them ALL, that way none of them feel left out.
