You got him to the pickup truck that has all that gear in it and no scale or tape measure? I can understand if you didn't get a chance to do it out in the field, but you got him to the truck, LOL!
I would guess around 275-300. I shot one similar size that weighed 310 about 7-8 years ago. That thing was a beast and had a tusk so long that it curled 360 degrees around and punched out its own molar.
That dude is all of 285 if not pushing 300. He is so big it makes it look like he is thin in the hindquarters, but I don't think he really is, just based on his length. Thick barrel chest makes up for "thin" hindquarters.
Basing my largest to date and the truck bed it laid on, this one is more than likely over 300#
How many guys did it take to get him on that tailgate?
We killed over 70 hogs in February. A majority of our hogs go to market where we are able to put them on a scale. However the clients we were hunting wanted to take this one home with them and didn't have an opportunity to weigh so I was asking everyones opinion. We shoot a lot of 200-250lb pigs and can get them in the back of a truck with just two of us. This pig dwarfed a 250lb and took four guys to get it in the truck. I was thinking around the 300lb mark but wanted to get a second opinion.
