another hunt ruined with dead pigs

Another case of pigs ruining a hunt. I had these come out first thing last Sunday. I took the first as he poked his head around the feed pen, he was about 125-150lbs. The sow in the back ran but came back to check on her boyfriend, took her about 10 yards behind the boar, she was about 150lbs.

Dang hogs ruin everything. Well everything, but hog hunting. Good kills.

I shot a pig yesterday 15 min later I shot a spike so I wouldn't say your hunt was ruined. I think killing pigs does more good then bad so like you I shoot them on sight.

Looks like a good hunt to me. Better then going home with nothing.

I prefer pigs to deer anyway.....great hunt in my opinion....

It was actually really fun. I had moved up my feeder time as it was off by about 40 minutes. The previous day the feeder didn't go off until I was climbing out of the blind. So I reset it. When it went off these pigs must have been in the area and came right in. My spot is pretty remote and I try to leave it unless it needs corn or pics to look at.
