HRCH Brandywines Summer Shandy - "Leine" - Leine finished 4th in Open at this year's 2016 Boykin Spaniel Society (BSS) National Retriever Field Trial. He obtained his HRCH and an AKC Master Retriever pass in 2015, all before reaching 2 years of age. Leine is out of Grand Hunting Retriever Champion and 2-time BSS National Champion GRHRCH UH Saint Thomas Chief MH MHR OCH10,14 and HRCH Lexie Lue Campbell. Leine's sire "Chief" is the only Boykin to ever pass the AKC Master National, an accomplishment many Labs do not obtain. There are also only 3 Boykins with the Grand Hunting Retriever Champion (GRHRCH) title. Chief was the 2nd Boykin to obtain this title. Finally, Chief ranks 3rd on the Hunting Retriever Club all-time points list, amongst all the Labs that run HRC tests. Leine is owned/handled by Phil Hinchman of Brandywine Creek Boykin Spaniels. 26 BSS National Championships in his pedigree.

HRCH Wrecker’s Southern Mermaid – "Ariel" – Ariel finished 3rd in Open at this year’s 2016 BSS National Retriever Field Trial. In 2016, Ariel obtained her HRCH, 2 AKC Master Retriever Passes, and ran 2 series at this year’s HRC Spring Grand. Out of all the tests she ran in 2016 (1 HRC Finished Test, 2 AKC Master Retriever Tests, 1 Field Trial, 2 Series in HRC Grand), she handled only on 1 mark (AKC water series), for 36/37 marked retrieves. In 2015, Ariel made it to the last series in Open at the BSS Retriever Field Trial (as an HR titled dog) and also earned a JAM in Intermediate. In 2014, Ariel earned a Completion in Novice at the BSS Retriever Field Trial. She has competed in 4 stakes over 3 years at the BSS National Retriever Field Trial, and has been to the final series in every stake entered. Ariel is out of 4-time BSS National Champion HRCH Justahomewrecker PCH05, UICH06, NCH06, UOCH08 and Remington Steele. Ariel is amateur owned/trained/handled by Josh Martinek. 63 BSS National Championships in her pedigree.

Both dogs have OFA “Good” Hips, “Normal” Patella, “Normal” Heart, and “Normal” Eyes. Both dogs are also “Clear” of Exercised-Induced Collapse (EIC), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), and Von Willebrand Disease II (VwD II). Leine is a “Carrier” of Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA) and Ariel is “Clear”. Ariel is also “Clear” of PRA-PRCD, PRA-crd4, and GSD VII. Due to responsible breeding and proper health testing, puppies will NOT be at risk for ANY of the diseases listed above. The litter will be BSS, UKC, and AKC registered. Also, this is the first ever HRCH x HRCH Boykin breeding from Texas, and will be one of a very few HRCH x HRCH Boykin breedings this year in the country. Ariel is the first Boykin from Texas to obtain her HRCH, and is the only Boykin in Texas with AKC Master Retriever passes.

Updated with some comments on the Grandsire of this litter (Leine's sire) you may not have been aware of.

Prob around $1,500-2,000. Just my guess knowing the breed.

Thanks y'all! Hope to confirm the pregnancy with ultrasound next week! My girlkin has been eating well, and kept on lock down in the house from training to make sure the breeding takes. Will report back in a week!
