Work Samples

I've been way too busy trying to finish construction on my shop (in addition to all my other responsibilities) and haven't been able to work on knives much lately. Shop is almost done, so hopefully things will slow down soon.

I thought I would follow suit and periodically update this thread with some examples of my work.

I was able to get this one done recently, and am pretty happy with how it turned out.

- Hunter/skinner
- 80crv2 high-carbon steel
- Acid-etch / stone-wash finish
- Burlap micarta handle, micarta pins w/brass accents, and white/black G10 liner/accents.

A few more cooked and ready for final grinds and handles

Here’s a few I’ve been working on lately. Both are in Magnacut stainless. Sorry, they’re not the best pics.

3.75” hunter with stabilized zebrawood handle (this one’s getting raffled at the Stewards of the Wild dove hunt)


EDC/hunter with Ultem scales (looks really cool when held up to the light)

Small EDC in CPM-154 stainless steel w/stabilized maple burl and vintage micarta handle


Large hunter in Magnacut stainless with stabilized desert ironwood handle

I like your clean, simple lines. That little EDC is a gem.

A few more off the bench lately. I've been getting a lot of requests for these small pocket-carry knives. I've started carrying one full-time, and I see why. Almost undetectable in the pocket and I love always having a fixed blade on me.

Small pocket-carry in S35VN with Richlite scales


Custom 7.5” gyuto (flipside is a ‘C-grind) in AEB-L stainless with stabilized mesquite and walnut handle (cut those tree down myself a few years back)
