A San Mai and a hamon

I'm finishing up these 2 one is a 5 layer San Mai the other is a W2 steel with a clay coated Hamon. The San Mai has a tapered tang
Which most of my future knives will have.

It will be when finished . Scales will be some beautiful redwood burl

This is the scales after installed and shaped will be sanded to 2000 grit and polishEd here they are at 400 grit
