Did Thomas Jefferson write about this knife?

The wood is tulip Popular from the only tree that Thomas Jefferson, himself, planted. The Jefferson society agrees. It went with the proper paperwork verifying. It is my Sendero model. Full engraved with 24kt gold as well. With so many young people knowing little to nothing of the US Declaration of Independence this is a direct link to the man who wrote it. What a treasure to hand down. Hope you like it. And...yes, he did write about it,...he recorded in his daily diary the day he planted it as well as exact location, etc.
