Raspy Camp Knife

Raspy Camp Knife - 10/18/16 08:23 PM

Made this one in between orders. Blade made form a farriers rasp and was differentially heat treated so the edge is hard but the spine still has some flex in it so there is much less chance of snapping the blade during hard work like chopping a tent stake. Scales are dyed and stabilized birds eye maple. Blue liners and stainless pins and lanyard tube round things out. 9" overall and 4 1/2" tip to scales.

Very nice. My dad has a couple of rasp,he was looking for someone to make knives out of them.
I'll give him your info, if you are not too busy.
