How about a little Ivory

How about a little Ivory - 09/07/16 11:34 PM

Finished this one today. Full flat ground Damascus blade heat treated and tempered to 60 on the C scale. Bolsters are stabilized Père David's deer antler and the scales are stabilized Mammoth Ivory. A little file work and jimping on the spine along with mosaic pins and a nice tooled sheath made for me by Dink Dodger round it out.
7 3/4" overall and 3 3/8" tip to bolsters.
