going to make my first Kydex sheath

I have a ranch knife with a sheath I cant stand so I am going to try and make a kydex sheath for it

I ordered some sheets of .08 black and some rivets
I have some foam to build a make shift press out of

Going to try it this weekend
Anyone done this and have any advice ?

Google youtube may be your best friend...

Don't over heat the kydex in the house.

it turned out pretty good.
I found out that you have to buy a rivet die to properly flare the rivets.
I made one out of a punch, but I have since ordered one for the next time

Congrats. always nice to add another "I can do that" to the list of things accomplished.
