Raspy Drop Point.

Just finished this one for an order. Rasp blade with Cholla cactus scales. Filling every little pin hole on the cactus scales is a pain even after it's been stabilized.

I love the look of the cactus, but that's alot of filling. Looks great.

That's pretty close to my ideal shape. What are the dimensions?

Overall lengths on those run around 8.5 inches. I'll get the exact dimensions when I'm in the shop tomorrow.

Those scales are a major pain. Don't know why I keep taking orders for them. I've got five more Damascus drop points with Cholla scales to do for a wedding. bang
After that I don't really plan to do any more of them.

Spine to edge is 1 1/4"

Thanks for checking Mike, it confirms my tastes, it seems every knife that I find attractive, is about 8 in overall with approx a 4 in drop point blade.

Dyed epoxy after it's been stabilized.

It's West Systems dyed epoxy after it's been stabilized.

I try my best. Mine don't compare to some of the other makers here in the embellishment department but I'm confident in my work.
