D2 Skinner

Here is a little skinner I turned out with black linen micarta handle, copper bolster, brass and nickel silver accents, blue g-10 liners.

blade is cut from 3/16" stock thickness D2 tool steel, total length is 7 7/8" with a 3" blade
sheath is 8-9 oz premium veggie tanned leather.

Well knife making is just a hobby for me, its a way for me to stay out of trouble spending to much money on fishing or golfing etc. I do sell them once I'm done, I'm pretty much out of the order taking phase because its hunting season for me until the middle of January, and it causes me to burn out very fast. I'm in the shop today only because its to darn hot to go hunting until 4 or so that is...lol. I'm working on a couple of s35vn hunting knives probably be next weekend before they are done.
