Who has used these? I love them. I have the smaller version and I have gutted 3 deer and a pig with it before I ever have had to sharpen it. One of the best knives I have used by far.

I carry the Griptillian just like this, with a little less wear. Very nice knife.

I carry the same as Cast with a non serrated blade. I have a Bone Collector with more of a longer thinner blade, maybe more of a capeing blade but they call it a skinner. No opportunity to get blood on it yet due to no hunting time or opportunity.

Well, I blooded mine on the first day. Didn't hurt much but bled a bunch!.

I'm a fixed blade kinda guy. My go to is a Benchmade Bushcrafter. Dressed 7 deer with it last fall before it needed a touchup:

I have a custom knife much like that made by Jason Fry, one of the knife makers here on THF, about the same size with black scales. I wear that in the woods, but my Griptilian will still ride in my pocket. I also carry a razor sharp little Case in my pocket. I've used Jason's knife like a caveman in camp and it is still shaving sharp.

Nice for a production knife, but I'd rather have a custom. up
