Finally got a buck on public land

Only took me dang near 10 years but I finally shot a nice buck on public land. Got him with a crossbow at 8 yards, never knew I was there hunkered under a cedar tree. I'd tell you where it was but it only took me 10 years to find it

Funny thing is I have a lease near waco and I enjoy hunting public land more than there. It's more work but much more rewarding.

Thanks guys. I have learned so much about deer hunting from my public land experiences. He may not be 130 class but he is definitely my most prized trophy now. I can't tell you how many missed opportunities and deer I've spooked over the years trying to get one of these elusive bucks.
