Drew Standby at Kerr WMA

My number was up this week! Sat yesterday evening only seeing one young 10.
I am pumped about this hunt. It will not be a live hunt but I will keep everyone posted.

Who has hunted here?

Never hunted there, but good luck! Thought about going standby myself several times.

I hunted there on the last buck hunt a couple weeks ago. I shot what would have been a nice 11, but he had some broken tines.

So far a couple good bucks shot.
I have only seen 2 deer. They have us in the thickest pasture.

Tough hunt, some good deer brought in. I seen 3 bucks all legal just way to young.

Any exotics seen? Understand its high fence and they try to get rid of exotics....

They said there aren't many left. One axis was killed on our hunt. The biologist said they have more audad than anything else, and just a couple of red deer and axis left.

got er done on the management hunt. got spike and doe at the same time. they just would not leave the corn. lots of good bucks around but no exotics. didn't stick around to get a final harvest count but there were a lot of deer taken and at least one hog.
