This model stated just as above, in 3-9 x 40, no ring marks with a few minor nicks on objective. I'm not sure on the age, but looks great with a perfect image. Were these from the 70's before the "VX" line and where are they on the current quality line? It's in the case at local pawn shop. For $125 out the door, prolly couldn't be a bad deal.

Not quite. There have been generational changes to all of the VX-lines over the years. A while back I posted up some of these. Let me dig around and see if I can find the pictures.

Are you able to ask them for the serial number and reference the above information?
I could get the serial number, I had hands on it. For some reason, the information you posted above is a blank page.

Call Leupold with serial number they'll be able to tell you everything about it good to check so many knock offs out there
That’s some good info there Skylar thanks.
Prolly going to buy it. Don't think there's a better scope out there for $125.00. I'm wanting to put a rifle together that I won't mind riding on rack of ATV. And yes, Sklyar put some good info out there. Thanks again.

I’ve had that scope on a 270 since 1998 or 1999. It’s held it’s zero and is as clear today as the day I bought it.
