Seeing Double out of binos

I'm having a problem using binos. We don't have the best binos at work, but what we do have makes me sick using them. Problem is I see double out of them. The smallest pair is fine, but I can't see far and they suck at night.

What is causing this seeing double? I have perfect 20/20 vision

I have same problem Wade, I have perfect 20/20 but binos freak my eyes out. I normally turn them sideways and use them as a monocular instead. I always see double and can't seem to focus. Thought it was just me lol.

I turn them sideways too. Thinking I may purchase a spotting scope

I could see double two if I open them up too wide but when I bring the closer together they work fine.

YeH but that's not how they should work. I push them together all the way and it's fine, but then I can't use both eyes.

I have a pair that does the same thing. Over time it seems the two optics that comprise the binoculars have become misaligned. I don't know if it's fixable, I haven't put a lot of effort into trying to realign them.

I had a a cheepo pair on my desk for watching deer out the window. On day a guy knocked them off the desk onto the floor. No one can see correct from them now. Like KRoyal I use them as a monocular now.

I used the only method I know of, I beat them on the steering wheel hoping something would move back into alignment

So Wade and Kyle cannot figure out how to work a pair of bino's. Got it.... SMGDH... Must be yall's old eyes causing this

I have same problem. The only binos that seem to work for me is when I look through my buddies swaro's

They are knocked out of alignment and need to be sent back to manufacturer to re realigned.
Pretty easy do it to them. Riding in dash on ranch roads, dropping them etc.
Most manufacturers don't warranty this but fix them cheap.

So in other words the low bid binos the department settled for will now cost more
