AR Mount for Photon XT 4.6 - 09/11/16 01:07 AM
For hunters using a Photon on an AR, what mount are you using? I'm looking for a QD and RTZ mount. I have a LaRue LT111 on one of my other rifles but I'd like to see other options. Here's a pic of the rifle the Photon will be mounted on. Thanks!

I use Warne Q/R rings attached to 1/2" picatinney risers. The Warne rings RTZ and the risers give a proper scope height. They also allow for a Caldwell brass catcher mount.
I have Burris pepr. A buddy of mine used the same.

I contacted LaRue and they recommended the LT104 mount. However, it requires a tube space of 4.9" min. The Photon XT has 4.65" of tube - it won't fit. I measures my LT111, and it also requires 4.9" of tube space to mount.
The Burris PEPR requires 4.15" - it's in the lead.
Thanks for the responses!
