They are pretty cheap , what is the feedback on these? I'm liking the reticle option for a kid

My dad has one, I believe 4-12, and it's a great scope for the price. He put it on an A-17 and it works great. I don't think you could go wrong for money

not sure what they run ($$) but the Leupold VX-2 is a really good scope for the $$ as is the Redfield Revolution. Just never been a Vortex fan even though I own their Talon Bino's, remember the one that the ocular eyepiece fell off while sitting in my deer blind. Sent them back, kinda expected a new pair, they just glued the eyepiece back on....oh and it took them 8 weeks.... flame

I'm only considering for the low price and the reticle that is illuminated. I think it would be easy for a kid to use that particular reticle.
If I could find an illuminated vx2 Or vx3 for under $200 I'd be good

A vxr is my first choice but double plus the price

Razors are made in Japan, Viper and Diamondback the Philippines. Crossfire is made in China. Just my opinion but I do not care for the Crossfire. They come with a lot of bells and whistles at the expense of good glass to maintain their price point. I'll take a Burris Fullfield II over a Crossfire any day.

I just ordered a 3-9x50 with the V-Brite reticle off Ebay for $170. Before ordering I went to Academy two days in a row and looked through most of their scopes under $300. The only one I found that was noticeably better (to my eye) was the Leupold VX-2 and it was $299 for 3-9x40. $399 or 3-9x50. I did not like the Crossfire II 6-18x44 though. The picture was very fuzzy around the edges even at 6x. I struggled over this purchase for a couple of weeks but I am confident that it will work good in my area.

You can get a pretty good 3-9 scope for $200.00. A 6-18 at even double that amount will be a POS IMO.

Have 5 (I think) 4-12x44 crossfire ii's and I love them for what i do. There's a guy on eBay that sells "demos" for under $140 but most are still in the plastic wrap. I Agree the higher power crossfires aren't worth buying but i haven't found a scope less than $300 that compares. Replaced one with a viper 4-16 and went back to the crossfire because I could see better at night and it had a better FOV. Consistent 350yd coyote shots don't lie up
