So I have been away for some time. Has the xSight got any better or do they still have issues?

Not sure how his post is feeding the troll. ATN rolls out the new X-2's to much fanfare in the spring, plus a whole new line of thermals, and there has been little to no info or videos about them.

HS, you are kidding, right? Search Pig_Popper under display name with the Optic section highlighted and results new than 1 year. I think you will find how far off the mark you are with your query about PP working for or an apologist for ATN.

Thanks for highlighting this Jortod. Disappointing though; I was really hoping for some improvement on the so-called 'auto-dimming' issue.
It will be some time until I can check it out.

Well, there is SOME improvement but I'm not sure how much. I'm still waiting the chance to take some good video but I really prefer thermal over NV. I hate being washed out after every shot.

Just to confirm, this is an original xsight with 1.8.08.352 firmware? not an xsight II?

I didn't realize this is for the original X-Sight. Only changes appear to be graphics and now getting an ATN logo on all your pics. Really need that...

I'm leaving mine as-is.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I really wanted better autoexposure in night mode - give me that and I'm happy. Don't really need a different reticle or ATN logo though.
