Trijicon acog opinions

Trijicon acog opinions - 05/24/16 01:29 AM

Thinking of going with this on my AR 223. Everything I've read they seem great but wanted to see if anyone had any hands on experience.

Any other suggestions welcome.

1. I don't own one but apparently they are the most rugged things ever made. My buddy beat his to hell, sometimes intentionally because he was just that kind of guy, on his 2 deployments. Rarely has anything good to say about anything the marine Corp issues him but could say enough good things about his acog or the knife they issued.

2. Loves me trijicon products in general. Got an accupoint 1-4 and an mro and think the accupoint is the near perfect topping for an ar.

I have had Trijicon ACOGs and Trijicon Scopes for about 10-12 years now. I have never had a problem and they hold their zero better than any of my other scopes. I also think they are extremely clear and bright. I have nothing but good things to say about Trijicon.

I had the ta31rco and sold it to fund some other project. Since then I've kicked myself numerous times. I'm currently running an eotech with flip to side 3x. Argh! I will have one again. I will.

4scopes.com used to have great prices and also have coupon codes for more off if you do a search for them. It was years ago but I got it in 2 days and all was very smooth.

you're gonna love it

Love my ACOG, so easy to get behind and the glass is clear and bright for the money.

I'm on the other side of this. I hated mine. Terrible eye relief and didn't seem as clear as I thought it should be for the price.

Very impressed. Easy to mount/sight in. Doesn't add much weight which is great.

Glass and view are the same, both excellent, the ACOG is lighter....

Re: Trijicon acog opinions - 07/01/16 12:40 PM

I have a acog on my 300 blackout with a larue tactical quick disconnect. One day I was in the garage and was taking the acog off to put my night vision on for a hog hunt. Long story short I dropped the acog and it hit solid on the concrete. I was sick!! The tritium wouldn't work but the scope looked ok. I called acog on Monday and told them it was my fault. They sent a shipping label to me that day. I shipped the scope out on Teusday. 3 weeks later I get the acog back repaired with no charge to me.

I love my acog!!
