I have a 300blk out, wanting to either go w the trijicon 4x32 acog for the 300blk out, or an elcan. I don't know if elcan makes a 300 blkout out reticle or not. Also for any one w experience with these, can u run a pvs14 w em? Or should I ditch the optic and pvs ideas and just go w an ir hunter?

Personally, I would go with the IR Hunter II. Nothing against the Elcan or the PVS14. I think you will find the Elcan fairly heavy and then add on the PVS 14 and mount - you will have a fairly heavy platform.

Just my $.02 and based of my personal pref nothing more.

Don't like BDC reticles much, especially on 300 Blk as they drop a lot depending on bullet weight and etc.

I went the IR Hunter route.

Most of the 300 blk out reticles do not line up, so don't buy a scope planning on just that.

Honestly, I'd get a mil/mil scope so you can dial the turret or use the mil reticle and adjust very easily. I run a Vortex 2.5-10 mil/mil scope on my 300 blk out bolt gun and love it.
