Nightforce NXS NP-R1 reticle focus

I bought another nightforce (NP R1) and I'm having a hard time focusing it to get the reticle to appear. Anyone have a trick to focus the reticle to where it appears better. I have the MOAR and the reticle appears more visible than the NP R1 or is the NP R1 just a thinner reticle?

The easiest way to focus the reticle is to hold the rifle up to a blue sky and focus it that way. I dial up to max magnification, and dial in the reticle this way. It will eliminate any parallax issue when looking at a certain distance. Also, make sure you have your eye relief in the correct position to get the focus. I had one NF scope that was more difficult to get to focus than the others.

What Chad said and dial the focus/parallax to infinity.

The eyepiece may take lots of revs to come into focus as it has a very fine thread pitch, but stay with it.
