I was in Australia when that happened. No one knows why other than guess he didn't want to go through the road block so he stopped got out and started shooting. News said no idea why he did that. Search of his person and car found nothing illegal. Or at least that is the way it was reported in Melbourne news papers and TV news.

He was a drug addict that had shot and wounded 2 people, cops had a roadblock up to find him. he attacked them with a 30-30 and wounded another person there. Then killed a police officer.

I always feel they focus on the wrong things.

You should look at per capita numbers, not flat stats.

Then remove Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, and D.C. from the murder stats and see where the US ranks....tells you everything you need to know about gun free zones....
