Last year was slow here

I remember sitting up in my elevated blind last year in the first few days of deer season and hearing very few shots fired. I can’t remember if the weather was warm last year in the first week of November. The mornings here will be cool, but not cold, and the afternoons will be warm (mid 70’s to mid 80’s).

Last few mornings, a nice 10 point has been at my back feeder. It’s gonna be hard to save him for the grandson. I must remain strong…

Or not, plenty fish/deer in the sea for the grandson to lay claim to.

Shoot it and then text a picture to him with the caption “ if you would have been in the blind this morning “….

But yes, not many shots heard on our place last year either.

Interested in seeing what this year is gonna bring. Buck activity was very slow last year compared to the previous two seasons.
